you might try this:
get some high temp.silicone at the auto parts store.Then take the wheel off one more time and take the shoes off and clean them through with brake cleaner.rough sand the linings to kill the glazing.put some beads of silicone on the backings and let it dry good.then put it back together.the rubber will dampen the harmonics.hope this will help you.
